Leadercast Winnipeg 2022

Leadercast Winnipeg 2022: A rebroadcasted event
Access amazing content and connect with people in-person or virtually
May 26 (in-person) and June 23 (virtual)

Leadercast is on a mission to fill the world with leaders worth following by serving them with thought-provoking development content and transformative leadership conferences featuring experts and peers who dare to take the business world by storm. Bringing together amazing speakers from Leadercast and leaders within our own community, LMVA Consulting looks forward to being a host site for Leadercast.

We love the Leadercast content and enjoy bringing together a local element – where attendees can connect (in-person or virtually) with other attendees and with a keynote within their community. We can’t wait to see you then!

What is “The One Thing”?

Leadership is complicated. It can be overwhelming. When you turn for help, where do you go? We have more leadership resources today than ever before. But who do we trust? And how do you boil down all of the content coming your way into useful, practical advice? It can be paralyzing.

The greatest leaders find a way to focus on the most important things, and those of us lucky enough to be led by them know that reassuring feeling of following a confident, focused leader. That’s the kind of leader we all aim to become.

Leadercast has invited 10 of the world’s most influential and acclaimed leaders to share the stage for one amazing day to all answer the same question: What is the one thing that makes a leader worth following?

This year’s curated faculty includes successful business leaders, New York Times bestselling authors, cutting-edge scientists and researchers, cultural icons, thriving entrepreneurs, and trusted advisors. They are experts in their own “one things” including the topics of trust, grit, motivation, flow, fulfillment, possibility, belonging, and storytelling.

You will walk away ready to lead with new insights and motivation to focus on your own One Thing … and become that trusted, confident leader worth following you’ve always known you could be.

Lunch Keynote Speaker:
Ben Dueck, Cantera Leadership

Although leadership can be more of an art than a science, there are principles to apply that can grow your ability to influence others. This interactive session will dig into four principles of leadership that will encourage and empower you to make a difference within all areas of influence. These principles are based on years of research and interviews with thousands of people and can give you guidance within the sometimes ambiguous world of leadership. At the end of the session, you will have some practical steps and ideas you can implement immediately to grow your leadership impact.

Ben Dueck is passionate about leadership development. His experience includes entrepreneurship, non-profit leadership, fundraising, and more. He is a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, has a Master of Arts in Leadership degree, and is the President and Founder of Cantera Leadership. He is a born and raised Manitoban who grew up in a family of entrepreneurs where his interest in leadership development was born. For the past 20 years he has worked with leaders in both the business and non-profit world to help them be more successful. He currently lives in Niverville, MB with his wife and three children.
