Making Sense of Goal Setting
Goal setting is an intricate practice that requires us to take into account many aspects of our life including career planning, finances, relationships, physical health, and wellness to name a few. In our busy culture, it is rare to master the art of goal setting. More times than not, we find ourselves overwhelmed with the current tasks at hand and rarely seem to set aside the time to get a clear perspective on who we are and what we truly want.
In this session, Keith Macpherson offers an engaging and interactive experience to assist with making sense of goal setting and tangible strategies to integrate more mindfulness into practice.
Momentum – What’s Stopping You?
We all have some big audacious goals we’ve been thinking about but perhaps haven’t had the time, energy or courage to start/finish. It might be a professional goal or something you want to achieve personally or in our community. But we also all deal with real (or imagined) roadblocks that stop us in our tracks (sometimes before we even get started). Together with Jane Helbrect, CPHR, we’ll explore the common roadblocks and the steps we can take to gain momentum and fulfill our potential and purpose.
Integrating Mindfulness Practice Into Everyday Life
Mindfulness coach, Keith Macpherson explores the ABC’s of Mindfulness and offers participants an accessible approach on how to integrate mindfulness practice into their everyday lives. Keith will provide many opportunities during the workshop to learn new mindfulness techniques and experience the various tools and perspectives available to assist with this practice. Through the use of The ABC Mindfulness Platform, Keith will offer you deeper insight into how to alleviate stress, anxiety and bring your mental health into a state of balance and inner peace.
*Included in the afternoon will be some guided meditation tips with Keith Macpherson and journaling guidance from Jean-Guy Talbot, FCPA, FCGA.
